Here is a rare and attractive vintage Omega British military watch according to the Extract from the Omega Archives. It was made for a the British Royal AirForce (RAF) during the Second World War. Special Factory original finish dial nicely aged and original set of specially made blue steel spade hands as indicated on the extract. The movement has been professionally serviced running strong and accurate. Manual wind 16 jewels movement is an Omega 30T2 with serial number 9458986 dating this timepiece to February 18, 1942. The case model is 2292. The solid stainless steel original case measures 32.5mm across excluding the crown by 43mm lug tip to lug tip. This case model were made in three different case material. They exist in base metal, Aluminum and in full Stainless steel. The full stainless steel version is less produce which makes it the most rare out of the three. Unfortunately, it is quite common for the case back Engraving to be polished down for personal reason. The case also appear to have been professionally polished as well. Brand new crystal. This watch is ready for daily wearing and will come fitted with a new 18mm Nato style genuine leather strap. Wrist size in photo measures 6 inches.
