This is a scarce and early vintage Omega rectangular watch made for the US market according to the "oxg" mark on the balance bridge and jeweller sticker inside the original box. This timepiece will fit perfectly on a smaller size wrist due to its tiny size. The factory original finish dial is untouched and in great condition. There is a mark around the 1 o'clock. The fully serviced 17.8 manual wind movement works and keeps time well. Unpolished 14k gold filled unique fancy case is in excellent condition—original unsigned crown shows sign of tarnish. The crystal is in excellent condition. The movement serial number is 9697478, dating this watch to 1942. The case reference number is 386157 and measures 23.3mm across, excluding the crown by 36.7mm lug tip to lug tip. It will come with a 16mm genuine leather strap. The strap appears to be the original one that came with the watch. The wrist size in the photos is 6 inches.
