Here is a rare military-style Omega vintage watch. This particular watch is a Swedish market World War 2 era watch. According to collectors, it is also known as the cigarette watch. Swedish soldiers used to trade their Suveran watches for cigarette packs, where they got the name "cigarette watch." The factory's original finish dial combines with Roman numeral is uniquely aged. The watch has a new crystal and retain its original metal case gasket. The rare 30T2 manual wind movement has been professionally serviced. The movement serial number is 9968348, which dates this watch to 1943. The solid stainless steel unpolished case is original and measures 35mm across, excluding the crown by 42.2mm lug tip to lug tip. The case model is 2400-5. This watch is ready for daily wearing and will come fitted with a new 18mm vintage-style genuine leather strap. The width of the wrist in the photo is 6 inches.
