According to its movement serial number also date this the first year when Omega introduced the Constellation line. It also houses one of the rarest version of the bumper automatic movement caliber. It is a rare limited made caliber 352 bumper automatic with luxury finish and has been professionall serviced. The movement serial number is 12480593 dating this timepiece to 1952, making this a first generation Omega Constellation watch. It is working strong and accurate. The rare honey comb texture factory original finish cross hair two tone dial is in very good condition. Set of original dauphine hands. Brand new crystal. The case is made of a solid stainless steel with a solid gold case back medallion. This is the only Constellation model which does not take a case back gasket. Original signed crown. Case model is 2648-1 and measures 35mm across excluding the crown by 41.6mm lug tip to lug tip. This very fine timepiece will come with a brand new high quality 18mm fabric over genuine leather strap. Wrist size in photo is 6 inches. A piece when sold may not surface again for a very long time.
