1955 OMEGA CENTURY WATCH
Many people probably have never heard of the Omega Century. It is a Canadian market Omega watch.  Since importing was expensive, Star Case Company from Canada made their cases. This piece is a rare find and has a unique Omega history behind it. The dial is factory original in a rare creamy waffle texture finish. The movement has been fully serviced and is an Omega calibre 283 with 17 jewels. The movement serial is 14591674 dating this watch to 1955. The 10k gold-filled case measures 33.3mm across, excluding the crown by 39.6mm lug tip to lug tip. Brand new crystal. Crown is signed. Overall, a stunning-looking and rare watch!  It will come with a brand new 18mm genuine leather strap. The wrist size in the photo is 6 inches.
