The quantity was limited and only a few countries in the world sold this model at the time. Since importing was expensive, oversea countries that sold this particular model all had specially made Star Case company casing. They were the original cases made for the Omega Century watch. This piece is definitely a rare find and has a special Omega history behind it. The dial is factory original in a rare black texture finish. Case is made of 10k gold filled and with serial number 3455477. The movement has been fully serviced and is an Omega caliber 284 with 17 jewels. Movement serial is 15570176 dating this watch to 1957. Case measures 33.3mm across excluding crown by 38.3mm lug tip to lug tip. Brand new crystal. Crown is unsigned. Overall, a stunning looking and rare watch! It will come with a brand new 18mm genuine leather strap. Wrist size in photo is 6 inches.
