1981 ROLEX OP DATEJUST THUNDERBIRD
 
This is a Rolex Oyster Perpetual DateJust. It's truly a great example of a fine-looking DateJust. Because of its unique solid 18k gold bezel, this model is called the "Thunderbird." This watch has been fully serviced, cleaned, and ready for daily wear. The movement is a Rolex high grade 27 jewels in house 3035 calibre. The factory original dial on this watch is in excellent condition. Rare and desirable. Crystal is in excellent condition with a raised magnifier loupe. The polished solid stainless steel with solid gold bezel case is in very good condition and measures 36.6mm across, excluding the crown by 43.5mm lug tip to lug tip. The case back gasket and case tube gasket are brand new. The case model is 16000/16253. Case serial number is 7219408, dating this timepiece to 1981. This watch will come with a brand-new 20mm handmade genuine leather strap. The wrist size in the photo is 6 inches.
